occupational health services screening and data management services.
Through its fleet of mobile trucks, Exemplar delivers occupational health
services to clients, covering the Continental U.S. Exemplar’s substance
abuse testing programs includes third party administrative and collection
services to the public and private corrections industry. Exemplar’s
corporate headquarters is located in Kansas City, MO.

We currently have a part or full time position for a Perl / Mason
Application Architect. Pre-Employment Screening will include Drug Screen
and Background Check. We offer excellent pay and benefits. Must include
salary requirements when applying for position. Local candidates preferred.
Position must be filled ASAP!!

Responsibilities:
Lead technical planning, design and implementation of assigned engineering
initiatives; 
Successfully translate business requirements into technical specifications
and finished products/services; 
Assist in Quality Assurance as needed; 
Create and maintain high-quality documentation of all relevant
specifications, systems, and procedures; 
Provide mentoring and training for junior staff;  

Required skills:
Excellent knowledge of OO Perl; 
4+ years of experience in web site and software application development in
UNIX/LINUX environment; 
Solid understanding of relational databases; 
Excellent knowledge of CVS;
In-depth experience with Linux/UNIX and desire to work with Open Source
technology; 
Thorough knowledge of Apache and mod_perl; 
Proficiency in JavaScript and CSS;     
Experience with shell scripting;
Strong (Perl) programming and software design and development skills;
Working knowledge of HTML, HTTP, SSL, TCP/IP, DNS and other applicable
protocols and technologies; 
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent
experience is required; 
Project Management and life cycle development experience; 
Strong communication and problem solving skills.
